Dear Oceanside Voter,
Whether you have lived in Oceanside all of your life as I have, or you are one of the thousands who have come to Oceanside more recently, I share your desires for a prosperous community with safe neighborhoods, good shopping, great schools, recreation for our kids and protected senior communities.As you new City Councilmember I can promise you I will work hard for those things everyday. I will also work hard to ensure taxpayers' money is spent the right way, for the things we need. We all want to have a police officer when we need one and to have a paramedic when there is a medical emergency. We want to get home in time for the Little League game, helping with the homework, or spending time with friends and family. I can promise you I will always make these a top consideration in my decisions.
We need a City Council who listens and believes in our neighborhoods and other things we value. Your neighborhood and mine should be valued by the City Council and protected from the intrusion of excessive traffic and poorly planned development. We deserve responsible city government and decisions reached in our best interest.
If you elect me to represent you I will treat every decision as a public trust. I will value your community as if it were my own and respect the things you value and investment you have made in Oceanside. I will exercise fiscal restraint and carefully watch all expenditures.
